I have an Ultrasone PROline 2500 (about 2 years old) and I just tested it out of a Novo w/ the switching psu. The sound was very good, excellent mids, punchy bass, and nice detailed highs. It should be a good match w/ the Solo SRG, however as I try to always say you should try them if you can. Buying a can w/o testing it could be an expensive mistake if you do not like it. Good luck.

Simon, I am one of those who does not like the Senn house sound. I have owned the HD580 and the HD600 (twice) and even though I tried various amps and about 10 different cables it was not meant to be. However, many love the combination of the Solo and the HD580/600/650.

Now, if that Solo SRG would get here quickly I would borrow a Senn HD600/650 to see how they pair. Wink

I listened to it once about 3 years ago, it sounded very good but at the time I did not want to spend that kind of money. Will have to try them again at a future meet.
