Came across this, it works by aligning the protons!
They have a version for rooms and for CDs as well, only $4000+. Oh they don't have UK distribution yet. LP Energiser |

But when it comes to cable direction in AC most people believe I'm barking up the same tree, except... that here there is the beginnings of independent scientific observations, but from the HVDC industry which has millions if not billions of dollars to throw at research.
Cable polarity exists! It is due to dielectric relaxation - ever done science? Charge a capacitor and watch the voltage decay on a volt meter! That is dielectric relaxation. Electrolytic capacitors are polarised in such that when given a polarisation voltage in the right direction, they do not distort audio signals (read John Linsley Hood's articles on that subject). A high voltage DC charge forces cable dielectric into polarisation! One way round it distorts an AC signal... OK, you non-believers, ready with your poison pens - read this! http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CEwQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Frepository.tudelft.nl%2Fassets%2Fuuid%3A1922c463-91af-4c4f-8720-a89e7da4f8f6%2Fewi_lennon_2009.pdf&ei=dH_JUq-eLNLB7Abj0oDgDw&usg=AFQjCNHD9OtGiBJB8aCYJAdplGsP2HDzww&sig2=108jHxpP0Uqgdl44uCE8BA&bvm=bv.58187178,d.ZGU&cad=rja It will download the PDF and use the "find" tool by entering the word "polarisation". If you're man enough to be able to understand the science you'll learn something! But where does the HVDC come from I hear you ask? It comes from the insulation test every properly made reel of cable gets subjected to! |
