Does anybody know a record dealer who can remove warps.Have just got an original Elton John still shrink wrapped after 30 years but quite badly warped.Do not want to pay £2000 for the machine no matter how valuable and rare the record.

Hmmm... this is an interesting one!
Having just been given a load of records that I don't want (James Last anyone?) I will do some experiments when I get some time (which will probably be over Christmas at this rate!)
Cheers,

The James Last album may deserve the opposite treatment.

LOL Now that's just cruel!

Anyway, there are hundreds of them (or it seems like it!).  At least the covers are worth looking at!

Hi Phil,

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is actually one of my favourite albums.  His later stuff I can't get into, apart from Tiny Dancer, which I love.  However, there are millions of people who buy his records, and he can put a top selling track together amazingly quickly.  Wish I could!

I will definitely experiment to see if I can find a way to bend a record back into shape without losing any information in the grooves, but it will have to be over Christmas, when I have some free time.  I also have one or two warped good records I'd like to sort out.

Kind regards,

Andy
