I seek you here as I could not identify your further elaborations on our previous string discussion.
 
Some designers  say that avoiding capacitors and resistors along the signal path is useful to maintain signal purity...the technique they advocate is DC Coupling ad DC servo assisted ...
 
Can you assist me understand the concept application...please Sir!!!!Tongue

 the servo application is discussed here by Graham.
It is definately not as good as a properly designed single supply, capacitively coupled, preamp.

Thanks Bruce, you have saved us from repeating the thread and answered Sylvain's enquiry.

It's limited compared to Graham and others here but my practical experience of working on and listening to DC coupled circuits suggests it is a lot of extra complexity when a carefully chosen capacitor will achieve the same end. The excellent sound quality of the GSP gear is pretty persuasive on the merits of the latter approach.
