After getting a lot of unexpected experience with the Norwegian customs, I am happy to report that I have not only become an expert in importing and exporting goods from Norway, but also that the Solo UL is received and in good condition!
 I'm looking forward to my two weeks with the Solo and if I build up the courage you will find a review from me in the headphone amp section before the end. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it, the Solo is a stellar little amp! When sending it on/back after your loan is over it might be a good idea to try and put a low nominal value on the declaration sheet to spare the next recipient trouble with their customs office. I don't think a loan unit should be cause for import duty or taxation and I hope you didn't end up having to pay one yourself? Anyway, happy listening! Johan |
