Hi All,
I want to share my great Graham Slee personal buy experience for a buy from Simply Audio [www.simplyaudio.nl]. My experience by phone- and email contact with Dimitri van Hoven from Simply Audio in the Netherlands has been a pleasure. Dimitri is a wonderfully approachable and knowledgable expert. Simply Audio also sells through the famous Dutch www.bol.com as a partner firm. But:..drum roll... please note the small lines before buying from BOL.com. When selecting the product, you will find that Domitri van Hoven who is running Simply Audio advises to use the Dutch variant of the Graham Slee direct through his "try-before-you-buy" approach. Which I have done. This to test, review & eventually buy a PSU1 for my Amp2 SE. It has given me the same upgrade experience as installing the Amp2 in the first place! After burning-in for appr. 150hrs with continuous music playing from the variable headphone outlet of my Sony CDP-705ESD (output below vinyl level of course(!)) I noted my final findings and emailed them back to Dimitri van Hoven. He has now added my reviews to his references for the PSU1 to Amp2 setup. Note: the link shows my comments in Dutch, but my main reason for putting this up is hinting new and upcoming Dutch Graham Slee product users to find their way to simplyaudio.nl ![]() https://www.simplyaudio.nl/referenties/ UK readers Translation: "I am sold and so is the PSU1. Still surprised by the differences and perceptible improvement. The vocals have their place even more clearly and where lyrics were more difficult to hear clearly because other instruments interfered with the vocal register, thát is now completely taken care of. You can hear everything getting its own stage place in the sound image more clearly. Highs: Cymbals sound live now, they really sing nicely after and through. Lows: more body but also more neutral definition. For example, a string bass is now really jus thát and not a boom-box. - Very satisfied! " |
