Anyone know if there is an intrinsic speed control mechanism that can be adjusted on the RX2? I think mine is a bit fast when comparing pitch of streaming versions of same content seems to be a tad higher to my ears. I haven't yet done the strobe thing and don't really have equipment to do it. Would like suggestions re that as well.

Thanks all,

Jim

check out this strobe disc available from Walmart… made by Hudson Hi-Fi.

I use a similar strobe disc made in 1960’s.

Many years back I had an Ariston Q-deck that ran fast, it was even better at the right speed. A strobe and disk is a good investment and quite cheap nowadays as the helpful links above show. Please ask if you want any further help.

There is a service manual for the RX on Vinyl Engine. It is free for any registered user. That may be helpful if the strobe shows the speed is incorrect.
