Do either of the UK or EU loaner schemes include the Republic of Ireland?

Good question.

Eire has the same free movement of goods as the rest of the EU so there are no customs clearance problems. The cost of shipping could be a stumbling block. Obviously it is closer to Jon than Derek, so probably Jon's call?

Sending to Northern Ireland would cost exactly the same as sending anywhere in the UK, but I think the post office treats Eire as an international destination. That usually means that under 2kg is quite reasonable, but above 2kg Parcelforce has to be used - and they're as expensive as UPS.
That none should be able to park up and enjoy the view without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

I can do it from the UK but will need to confirm the cost with the borrower beforehand. Please can you ask them to contact me directly or go through you Ifor so we can find out what they would like to borrow and cost it up.
