Camping Out

May 21st 2011 came and went without a "rapture". It was also just another ordinary day for earthquakes which happen all the time anyway. May 21st 2011 was officially over by 7am BST on the 22nd over here in Britain - the exact time it became 6pm yesterday at the lagging side of the international dateline.

Rapture After parties held by Atheist and "Humanist" groups followed, but I'm sure some at least may have felt slightly nervous about "the judgment day"?

In a way it was judgment day for the likes of Harold Camping (one of those responsible for deceiving many). And unwittingly he did fulfill a little known Bible prophecy!

It's a prophecy that tells of a day when all those who got filthy rich out of Christ would come to their end, and where their followers would find themselves the subject of intense ridicule. And you can read it and prove it for yourself. This event could even be the beginning of a rather diverse earthquake or landslide that "destroys Christianity" but I'll not go into that.

So where is the prophecy? Easy! It goes like this:

"And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them." (Luke 21)

But I suppose there will always be "blind" people...

After much time without visiting a Church I went this weekend twice for a baptism followed by a 1st communion. Interesting that we humans think we know it all. Regardless I felt pretty good after hearing and participating in the mass.
