Bitzie for Gigging?

Quite a lot of singers doing gigs now use an app on their phone or an iPad to play backing tracks and often turn up to gigs expecting to plug the device into the gig's PA - this according to a local golf club committee man.

Often small venues aren't prepared and don't have a device which can take the digital output of the phone or pad and turn it into analogue to feed into the PA mixer - I am told.

I would think the Bitzie with an on the go adapter (or lightning adapter for Macs) would fit the bill perfectly ?

It being plug and play, then the backing tracks would simply play into the Bitzie, and the analogue out would feed a mixer channel... job done!

Or am I missing something ?

That none should be able to buy or sell without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

Sounds like an excellent solution.
Only need a Lautus USB power adapter cable.
