I decided to upgrade my headphones a few weeks ago. After a lot of research I opted for the Beyerdynamic T5. Plugging the headphones into my Arcam amp headphone socket immediately showed how superior the T5’s are to ny old B&W P7’s. Everything just sounded better. Then I got my new Solo ULDE and things went to a whole new level. Stunning sound - masses of detail, superb bass, instruments placed precisely in the soundstage. All this plus a listen which is comfortable and not fatiguing. I’m rediscovering my record collection.
