Well, I have now decided on the voyager to power my iPod classic with lossless files, now I need to decide on a headphone... anyone had a chance to try these two back-to-back yet ?
thanks Mike |

I have just spent around 30 minute listening to the B&W P5, it was very comfortable and has a sound that is just how their speakers sound. I found them to give a quite warm sound with good bass although not as tight or fast as I had hoped. I am sure hooking them-up with a Voyager would work great. What did impress me was just how easy it would be to change the cableing, looks like B&W have had that as a design goal from the very start, nice to see.
Now I just have to find the Beyer to try... |

Actually w/ the DOCK you bypass the iPod internal headphone amp. To bypass the iPod internal DAC you need a Wadia 170i or Onkyo NS-D1 unit and also an external DAC. Cheers.
