I wasn't sure where to put this link for Graham and others to have a look at...
http://nwavguy.blogspot.ch/2012/04/odac-released.html I'm predicting that Graham will have mixed reactions to this blog. |

That was a very interesting link, Ash! A lot of common sense I think.
From the same site, this (very long) page is simply excellent! - http://nwavguy.blogspot.ch/2012/04/what-we-hear.html |

NwAvguy is the bloke I wrote about earlier in the impartiality thread..he was royally booted off headfi and vilified for simply stating the obvious. His blogs are great and well worth a watch.

For a long while I've wondered what Graham's stated thoughts would be on the 'objectiveness' of the Nwavguy articles. Fascinating now that it finally came up in discussion I find it to be less of a mixed reaction though more so of a necessary enigmatic (and witty) acknowledgement of the overall point put across in that blog. Perhaps his way of saying it 'Depends' on how you look at it? :) edit: dummy-me should have read the posts a little closer as they date from 5+ months ago already. Still it's quite telling that even head-fi has to start adressing some of this stuff as of late. Edited by Sounder 905 - 27 Jun 2014 at 9:53pm |
