I agree about the uncalled for nastiness but as with James, I personally avoid them. Their 5* review of GSP kit introduced me to my Novo in the first place, but every other product I've bought of their 5* list turned out to be rubbish when I knew what I was looking for.
While I understand what the sudden influx of new users and votes could look like, if their rude and uninformed but overly opinionated users (like every other internet troll) are too stupid to work out that (1) Graham was being funny, (2) no one would spam there AND here to brag about it as multiple users, and (3) their behavior has more to do with the Lord of the Flies than HiFi, then their praise isn't good enough for GSP anyway in my book! Apple will win as usual due to the supposed status that comes with the products, not because they are truly outstanding... Rant over. |

If it's done nothing else the nominations for the Loan Scheme have raised it's profile, and for every sourpuss dissing it there'll be many more now aware of it, possibly with their curiosity piqued enough to try it out.
