Today's pick is Organisation, the second album by OMD.


Reflex M + PSU-1 used with AT150-40ML, AT VM95ML, Stanton 680mkII + Ogura, and Shure M35X cartridges.

Listened to two totally different approaches to re-release of 1966 recordings. A black vinyl copy of The Beatles 'Revolver', digitally reproduced using  AI technology to give a quite different sound to the original, clearer, better separation, a more modern 'clinical sound. The second is Bill Evans Trio recorded at Town Hall in New York. Said to be an analogue reproduction from original tapes. A far simpler recording with only three instruments that puts you in a seat at the gig. 
An interesting contrast.

I am.enjoying 'Infected' by The The as I watch USA vs Wales which i am enjoying less.

Agreed. (Maybe) I am amazed my copy has lasted this long. I may play Mind Bomb next. Other The The albums are available of course.

Yes, I have it on CD and LP. I also recently got the A&M singles from the album on CD but haven't played that yet. It has all the 12''s and b-sides from around the time of the album.

I like the first four OMD albums a lot. I think they got better with each one and my favorite is Dazzle Ships.
