At least it is once you have this fact to account for. When drunk you break things, It's a law of physics I think Edited by suede - 28 Nov 2012 at 4:55pm |

So, are you sure the usb-cable did not sound better due to you getting sober then? Seems to be more like a law of biology to me. |

My theory is a poltergeist must have moved gravity for me
But returning to topic, I'm still not at all fully satisfied with this new Supra USB cable and I definitely liked the old one much better. True it cost twice as much but still I thought you would reach a point of only very slight improvements pretty fast with USB cables, but apparently not. Compared with using the Wireworld Ultraviolet my DAC now sounds much duller and less engaging and still with an irritating softness to everything. The difference between the two cables is like that of a mid-quality MP3 file and a FLAC, it's that big. Could burn-in be a thing with a USB cable or is it insane? As I wrote in an earlier post, my Supra USB-cable was an improvement, but I have not heard the Wireworld. I have used it for about two weeks, but I can´t say I have noticed any improvement compared to when it was new. I did however notice your cable is 2 meters. My is just 1 meter. I don´t know if this matter, but I have read USB-cables generally should be short.
