Hello

I'm looking into buying some used harbeth speakers. I'm currently looking at either m30 or 7es-3.
I have already invested in a majestic dac and want to use it as a preamp. Do anyone have any experience using these speakers with the proprius monoblocks?

Hi Linus, I think Graham has M30's, but they might be M20's.

Graham has the Harbeth M20. He said he feels their bass performance is better than his LS3/5A V2 but that the Stirling monitors stereo image better.

Hi Linus,

Not quite comparable to your proposed setup, but I use the Majestic as a pre-amp for my active Harbeth DPM1.pro speakers - recently wired with Graham's jack to XLR balanced cables to great effect.

My Proprius amps are used for the front speakers (PMCs) in my AV system. . .

Thanks for the info. Do you think the proprius will have enough power to drive the speakers?

See: http://www.blog-gspaudio.co.uk/gsp-audio-roadshow-report-rotherham-3/

Would this room be similar sized to yours? (first two photos)

We used the lower sensitivity LS35A. We took along the Harbeth M20's which were much louder but didn't image as well.

Those who commented thought it was loud and effortless enough.
