Saw Elbow recently on their U.S. tour and was really impressed. 

The live versions of songs from the latest studio album sound much more enveloping IMHO.

They had two horn players and two violin players that also added backup vocals.

For the core band, they had the keyboard player sometimes play drums so certain songs had two sets of drums going at once.

The base player also switched to keyboards for some songs.

I highly recommend seeing them live.

Nothing like live music.
I'm lucky as the pub I go to has live music most Saturday nights.
