Hello, I have many LP's going back a decade or four on Columbia, Capitol and RCA labels for example. Looking at the minuscule print on the rear of the cover to see if there was something to identify the recording as the US version of RIAA did not help.
Is there a symbol for example indicate this and in general would it be reasonable that all of these such recordings would be the US version.
Last night playing the Miles Davis album Witches Brew I noticed this was originally released on Columbia but being recently released under the Sony empire "label" I wondered if the recording had been done on RIAA for the benefit of world wide sales.

I have been through a similar phase of wanting to verify the EQ settings and hear records at their best. Frustratingly hard to find the answers so now I judge by ear and live with the small doubt over the choice!
