Sorry to learn from the radio last week that British jazz frontman Chris Barber has left us. He was 90, and died on 2nd March. He'd been suffering from dementia, it seems.

My dad was an admirer of Chris Barber. He passed a number of LP's and CD's onto me, I can see how influential Barber was. Rest in piece.
