Hello Graham, again long time ago since our last conversation. Hope that everything is smooth with you and your family ?
Iam still happy with your/my revalation and my great sounding laser turntable(upgrated again two years before..).
Sorry to ask you as a analogue guru, maybe to support me here with streaming….
Your PS1 have a DC output of 24 Volt, but how many amps ? And which transformer is inside and what about the wring ?
Reason iam asking here that i need a 12V DC linear power supply with at least 3,0 ampere. Is there any way to make that from one or two ? pieces of PS1 ? The plan is to replace another linear power supply from a networkplayer.
Whats you thought on that ? When you see no real possibile or you dont like that idea, maybe you have recommandations for another high quality manufacturer ?
thanks Robert

Hi Robert, I was about to reply to your email asking the same question but things have been a tad busy.
The PSU1 will not be able to give you 3 amps because the transformer is only a 12VA rating, and if we had one made suitable for 12V DC use it would only do 1A. It would also get very hot which would soften the case.
I am working on a 5V 3A power supply and it may be possible to uprate the transformer to give the required voltage and current for what you're after.
12V at a constant 3 amps is a constant 36 watts. Which begs the question, what are you wanting to power?
