Recently I received Graham Slee Eva V Gold and can't stop enjoying it!  However I'm stuck with choosing the proper amp and speakers for my room (16 m^2). At the moment I connect to my Eva V Gold to common home mini system, which is not the best thing :) Sometimes the bass is very strong to my ears, so I'm looking for a major replacement.

I listen to the 60s/70s LP presses of British and American rock music (Beatles, Stones, Doors...). Can't listen to that flat digital sound.  From reveiws I hear that one amp doesn't handle vocals right, the other can't handle drums right and so on.

1500$ for amp and about the same amount for speakers.

I am guessing that you are not in the UK or EU - it is very difficult to know what products are available in different markets around the world.

Without recommending specific products, what I would suggest is that revising your budget to allow more for speakers - say a 1:2 ratio of amp:speakers might give a better result.

Listening to different speakers in stores or at friends will give you the best idea, your choice of amplifier may well be governed by your speakers and better chosen after you decide on speakers that you like.

Well made items of either sort last a long time and good quality products are often very good value second hand (provided they have not become "cult" objects).

If you are at all handy and have the necessary facilities, there are many DIY designs and kits for speakers that will give outstanding sound quality for moderate outlay.
