Positive review on TNT.

May not get it back soon.

Sorry hyperlinks not working on my tablet tonight, maybe something to do with wine, not quite sure.

yes a positive review as expected. Perhaps the review was not detailed /leaning to sound features as would have preferred and not as glowing as I remembered the Era gold/elevator but good nonetheless.

It would have been good to have seen used with elevator M/Cs but still positive.

Further thoughts re the review.

I know from previous comments Graham isn't the biggest fan of hi-if reviews, the reason for which are documented.

A review does provide the ability to provide a degree of validation (yes there are huge numbers of variables) but not just of the product in this case the accession. If the review provides the validation of our own findings it probably gives those who own a particular product a degree of validation of our views and suspect (in general terms) negative comments are met with negativity/denial by the consumer who has one, though this isn't the case here are there aren't any negatives as such.

The other way if looking at the validation is that if a review produced different from our own views this may be down to 'the variables', our own inflated views of a particular product or the point I am trying to make perhaps a particular reviewer/maganize etc may be less than reliable.

As already reported a good review, which appears to provide validation in all departments and perhaps confirms the Accession is. Really good phono stage at this price point which I am sure forum owners will agree it is!

Different reviewer Richard. You'd need Geoff Husband for that sort of comparison, but the giving of top reviews by the same reviewer all the time might make some think there was an "arrangement". Wink

But it shows the Accession M is doubleplusgood as intended.

Maybe I need to breath on it further? Maybe the legislation (which only seems to apply to me) got in the way of the excitement? Maybe I strip out all those EMC/ESD components which others don't seem to use? I then run the risk of becoming an unperson... but hey, what the heck.

Please don't change the Accession Graham, it's the best phono stage I have heard and lets all the music get through.

Laziness on my part Graham, I thought it was GH but was too lazy to hunt it down!

Many thanks and keep up the good work.
