Another step closer to the Novo headphone amp kit launch: the HANDBOOK!

No half measures with this headphone amplifier kit - none of that two sheets of A4/letter size paper held together at the corner with a staple! Here's some sneak previews of the Novo Headphone Amplifier Kit HANDBOOK...

20 page detailed handbook includes...

...a complete how it works section with full size fold-out schematic

...a complete assembly instructions section with larger than life colour fold-out photo of the assembled PCB...

Plus there are full measured specifications, test voltages, component list, case assembly details, and lots of colour photo's to assist you every step of the way.

That;s some sweet sh*t Graham.

Meaning from the sounds of, the looks of, what you have put together appears quite substantuial, very in depth.

I am the worst guy for soldering jobs EVER. You really should see how ugly my circuits are (the few I am forced to make!). So, I am happy that I bought my Solo and NOT a DIY kit! Smile

ME! Thanks for the vote but I may not be the right person since I have been known to mess things up! Ouch

One thing is for sure, Mike at Rock Grotto did a very nice build. Big%20smile

Well, despite my warnings that a raw beginner shouldn't attempt this kit (because it's an expense sending it all the way back to England if you're half way round the planet), it's not a hard kit to build.

Neither is it an expensive kit compared to my first kit build as a total novice of a disco system back in the 70's...

...that was the equivalent of £800 in todays money - and I on only poor apprentices pay at the time.

In fact, that's how much I sold it for, so it could have been over a grand!

If you can't solder for toffee then don't buy it. If you can succesfully solder an op-amp then it should be dead-easy.

The kits are at http://www.diy-audio-kits.com/ - www.diy-audio-kits.com
