Sorry chaps, but please bear with the newbie questions ...  I need an amp / DAC with decent power to drive my HD800's via my MacBook Pro Retina. Having spent a lot of time on head fi I'm told that certain combos can sound bad. I bought an E09K after buying an E17 to use with my Amperiors for mobile use and to transfer to my office once I get a better set up. Whilst they drive my HD800's to a high volume, the HD800's sound too bright and very little bass. Sound wise I like decent volume levels and I listen to a combo of dance, rock and r&b. Not being familiar with the Graham Slee up & coming products range, what is heir available in be forthcoming year? Any recommendations? |
