Europe is very divers when for instance looking at:
- lots of countries to begin with
- a country being EU member or not
- an EU member with or without Euro or its own currency
- many different languages (though here on the forum English/American Wink)
- big differences in culture, specially between northern, eastern and southern parts of Europe
- all counties with their own postal/parcel services and prices
- .......and so on

Are you also interested in organizing the loaner program for (a part) of Europe Question
Please do contact Graham Slee (himself) than through PM or Email.

Thanks Han, Netherlands

Hi Cyreg

I have now volunteered to take on the job of helping to get the European loaner scheme underway. Graham has shipped me some stuff and I exppect Mr UPS to arrive by middle of next week. I am based in SW France and will be using the French Post Office for sending out products. How far have you got with seting anything up yet? You and I will need to work closely I reckon, if you are going to get involved with the loaner service.

Cheers

Hi Suggs, sorry didn't know the latest on your co-ordinating status.
I edited my reply to FritzS > so you and he can do "loaning-bussiness" Wink

ATM I am not available for the job and have no GSP products to loan out.
(Earliest in 2012, if there still is a need for an extra EU co-ordinator at that time)

Good luck Thumbs Up Han

PS how much would for example an insured/tracked shipment cost from France to Le Pays BasQuestion

As Novo coming out, I got an sample from Graham and ordinate a Novo loaning program in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Customs fees to and from Switzerland (non EU country) makes problems.

Hi Cyreg

I am going to get up to date rates from La Poste on Monday, but I sent a very large package (17 kg pre-amplifier) to Holland only last week with signature needed and it was 65 euros. As I haven't yet received Graham's products, I don't know how much they will weigh. I'll come back to you at the end of the week once they have arrived and I've played with the scales.

Regards

Hi FritzS

Does that mean that you are now are now the "loaner" for those countries? Or just for that particular Novo?

Hi Cyreg

Having at last sorted out the various weight combinations with/without the PSU1, the cost for insured post to Holland from here will be around 17 -20 euros for a PSU1 and another product (eg Reflex C), depending on how I finally pack them. This is not too bad in my opinion for someone wanting  a two week trial in their own homes.

The bigger problem seems to be kindling any real interest in the GS Products, have you any ideas how we can bring this to the attention of a bigger Hi Fi/Headphone community?

Regards

@Suggs
with Novo I made this over the German language forums
http://www.hifi-forum.de/" rel="nofollow - http://www.hifi-forum.de/
http://www.hififorum.at/" rel="nofollow - http://www.hififorum.at/
http://www.kopfhoererforum.com/" rel="nofollow - http://www.kopfhoererforum.com/
and reach headphone enthusiasts in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and have the list of »my« Novo loaners to this day.

I could help, but I dont want to be »thebigBoss« of a Europe loaner program Tongue

Hi Suggs, I already repeatedly posted on VinylEngine to promote the GSP phonoamps. Not much of a reaction!

Maybe FritzS can indeed help out for the german language orientated countries.

Don't know if on HeadFi, Europe also is promoted, if at all that did succeed??

Hi FritzS

Thanks for that reply. If you are able to do some sort of announcement to the users of the German forums that you list, that would be great. Obviously you can point them in my direction via the GSP Forum, but they would need to use English as my German pretty well stops at "Guten Tag" and "Danke". I wouldn't expect you to get involved beyond that, it's just that I'm trying to get the loaner program off the ground.

Thanks

Hello to all!
I am brand new at the forum and would simply and kindly ask how can one get into the loaner program
for Graham Slee Solo SRG with PSU1 unit.

I am situated in Gothenburg, Sweden. Primary objective for the amp would be the Grado GS1000, and secondary well burnt in AKG K701.

Any info on how to exactly proceed is warmly welcome...

Hej Sejfudin & welcome to the forum!

To arrange a loan within the EU, please send a private message to Suggs (Derek Suggate) with your requirements & he will reply with instructions.

I'm confident you will be impressed with the Solo SRGII
