Good afternoon all,at the moment my consumer unit is without a earth conection!!,i am considering fitting several spikes [one near the cosumer unit and one near the main music system for a start].
Any comments/recomendations?.

Ok, so we are talking of the same thing. Well, I am a firm believer in having a good grounding system throughout the house. Usually the problem is either the connection from the ground rod to the house or loose outlets where the connection is not secure. I am remember reading that the reading to earth should be under 10 ohms for the best possible ground, hopefully someone with more information will chime in. Cheers.
