I recently got my old revolver turntable out of storage and have been enjoying revisiting my old vinyl using my T778 NAD amp. Benefited from a new 2M blue cartridge, with a lot more detail. Can’t see me expanding my vinyl collection greatly so wondering if it’s worth getting a separate phono stage with such a modest analogue set up? (Mostly listen to cds). What would I expect to hear if I was to go this route?

Thank you for joining our community. I think you would hear more of the music but I can see your point about the investment involved. That said many people have gone back to vinyl as they preferred medium. Why not try a HFC phono stage and cables through the loan scheme?
