It was a PTP turntable, and Peter Reinders was at the show with us also. Great guy too.

More news will follow from Graham once I have spoken to him and recovered from the madness.  4.5 to 5 hours sleep a night for week does strange things to your brain. Especially when you're mostly on your feet for the rest of the time and the sitting down time is accompanied by beer Beer, which happens to be very good in Bavaria.

So it was a great spot by Bob. John, what can you tell us about the tonearm?

Peter R was really helpful with advice when I was buying the Solid12 - great guy to deal with. Amsterdam's version of Graham!

What's needed is a PTP branded GSP phono amp . . . Wink

Well, that's not such a silly idea.

To my mind both companies are BS-free zones with similar approaches to their customers . . .

The tonearm is Peters own, developed by him and a colleague. It was a very simple design but really solid looking and performed great during the show. Apart from that I couldn't say much more. It was really fortunate that the broken window missed the turntable - only by a small fraction. the arm would have been wrecked.
It hit the corner of the rack just to the right of the turntable. Unfortunately the tubes in the amp to the right, on the low floor stand, didn't fair so well...
