This is my first post on the forum. I got back in to listening to music a few years ago. I currently have two turntables setup, an original 1979 Rega Planar 3 fitted with an AT-VM95ML running through a Schiit Audio Mani and a Rega P6. The P6 did have an Ania cartridge running through a Rega phono MC but I found this sounded a bit thin when compared to the Planar 3. I swapped the phono MC for a Parks Puffin and this allowed me to tweak the sound to my liking. I then swapped the Ania cartridge to an MP110 and thought this sounded better and I'm now running an AT-VM540ML cartridge on the P6. I like what I now have but can't help thinking I've lost something in the Puffins ADA conversion. Has anyone else tried the Puffin? Would moving to a Graham Slee MM phono stage make a big diffrence?

Yes it probably will. Please try a home loan of a GS phono stage. Send a PM to John_C.
