My third player is also a spare.

LMS in my case is run on a Zyxel NSA310, which although low powered (both processing and power draw on the mains) copes with 24/192 files on the downstairs (Cat6 wired) player.
The only things the Zyxel doesn't do is transcode or resample on the fly, which in turn means it doesn't play Apple Lossless or WavPack files because they need to be transcoded as the players do not see the formats natively.
