I may well be rather unexpectedly looking to sell my Luxman PD441direct drive turntable in the very near future.
 
The Luxman is in excellent condition, family owned since new (around 1978?) and has original packing box.
 
The deck is heavy, weighing in at 18kg has been problem free since new.
 
This is the single arm version of the PD444 (see attached http://www.thevintageknob.org/luxman-PD444.html) which command very high prices second hand and both appear extremely well regarded and of the same construction.
 
I do have a few pictures on the 'show me yours' thread about 2 years ago but can happy take some shots if needed.

A few questions:
Is there going to be a tonearm included with the sale? (If not, what have you been using it with?)
Is there a dust cover?
And the killer - what kind of price are you looking at? Ermm

The deck has been used throughout with my Original Mission 774 arm. This has SME arm board. I was looking to sell separately.

I am in the process of buying a new Audiomods V, and a rega mount plate will also be available.

Yes the Luxman does come with a very high quality clear lid in very good condition.

So far as price goes? I really need to get somewhere near the purchase price of my new MRM Source which is £1,000 though haven’t concluded on a firm price. The twin arm versions tend to be advertised at around £2,300 +or -£500.

I did try and post some pictures which failed due to file size but will have another go.

Thanks for the details Richard. TBH this is a bit out of my price league (and my wife would say I don't need a fifth turntable Ermm) - but good luck with the sale!
