[QUOTE=Drewan77]As well as my local indie shop, I and my mates use a company called Covers33 (http://covers33.co.uk) - free delivery too. These fit all the record sleeves I have tried and are good value

12" White Paper Polylined Sleeve - Pack of 100
£17.50

Black also available, bit more expensive

(I have no affiliation to the above, just trying to share with fellow GS Forumeers !)

On the strength of Drewan 77's recommendation I ordered a 100, price has gone up but I agree they're good value. I've even ordered another pack.

(I've no affiliation to this company glad I took the recommendation).

We will all probably agree paper only ones are bad, I do prefer just polyethylene ones as I can put them into the original inner sleeves but the ones I've got are now £38 for 50, when I first started buying them they were well under £30, I think if I'm correct they have jumped up in price over the last few years. To me these are now not good value and are well over priced. I will soon be looking at alternatives. I am soon going to have to buy more outer sleeves but I can't remember who made the ones I've got. I like them as the album cover doesn't stick to insides.

Bloody hell. The price I quoted was on amazon just had a look on Juno Records and they have them at £26, talk about shopping around, that's a big difference.

The polylined Inners I've bought/ordered are £25 for 100 and they fit nicely inside all the original inners that have lyrics/photos, the plain paper ones I recycle.
I did use outer sleeves a long time ago but found they split with age or overuse or they stuck to the LP sleeve so I gave it up as a bad idea.

The outer sleeve I have are OK but as you said, I too have had some that have split. It's a bit of a trade off, the thick ones will last longer but the album covers stick inside (sort of defeats the object) where as the thin don't or at lest the ones I have don't. I would buy them again but as I said I don't know what make they are. I was reading a review on one that may fit my needs and this bloke said he didn't like them as the album slips out of the outer sleeves too easily, to me he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, does he wont the album cover to stick to themWacko

I use the thin inner liners and like the same thing, keeping the original inner sleeve, especially when it has lyrics and/or artwork.

That's what I like to do but I put my inner sleeves in side the original sleeve if possibly. The plain paper ones I recycle or cut them up then their good for taking notes or what ever, unless there black
