I tried hosting an image on my Facebook account and linking to it here with the IMG BBcode but it wouldn't display the image. I will try that IMGUR site at some point so I can post hi-res images without having to scale down every photo I want to post.

Third party image hosting should be on an https site or it flags an insecure warning for the page in the browser.

Images on Facebook are not stored with image extensions (jpg, gif, etc)
That none should be able to buy or sell without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps
