My first post but I’ve been enjoying my Accession MM for a couple years now.  Interested in doing something to let my MC cartridges join this party.  I use Jelco long tonearms on my turntables so I can swap the head shell/cartridges as desired.  My favorites are my Thorens TD-520 and TD-125LB.  So far, the Ortofon 2M series do well for me but I’ve got a few MC’s also, a Cadenza Black for one.

which Ortofon  2M do you have, as you can see below I have the bronze and I'm vary happy with it
Reflex M, Solo (both with PSU-1) CuSat50, Lautus, Spatia & Spatia links cables. Ortofon Bronze.

I started with Bronze and now enjoy all four of them.  The Blue is really nice.  The Black is super-picky about set up, VTA, etc.

super-picky is what put me off the black.
I was told online to keep clear of it because it does need setting just right or you will have tracking issues, some were saying they were still having problems even when they thought they had set it correct.
They do say it's a vary good sounding cart if you get it right.
For me I don't have the patients so I took the advice and went for the bronze.
