About 4 years ago putting together a Xmas cd of songs / carols etc for a friend I stumbled across a version of Good King Wenceslas by a Canadian singer of Scottish heritage. I was very much impressed by the quality of her voice, IMO the equal at least of J. Collins, Baez, Mary Black etc and the sound was something else.
I now own at least two cd albums, a dvd and at least 3 LP albums. Anyone interested will find video's of her performances on You Tube etc. More information can be found on her web site and a link to purchases which is via The Merch Desk based in Wales and I can recommend them. I would suggest for a first purchase as I did the album A Midwinter Nights Dream which is a cd and dvd. This woman is something else both as a musician and a person, all is revealed on this album. |
