I have been running my Technics 1200G for a few months now with the factory supplied interconnects and am looking to upgrade them to something different. I have heard good things about Cusat50 however, every so often I keep reading an opinion that it sounds a "bit flat"? Has anyone done any comparisons to cables of other brands (of similar value)? The likes of QED Reference 40 springs to mind.

My suggestion is to borrow a set from John_C and see how the cable sounds to you in your system. Please play a couple of records rather than doing rapid AB swaps and enjoy your music.

I have a several sets of Cusat50's now and owned various brand name cables before that including Chord, Tellurium Q, and others. I prefer the Cusat50's as they are clear and transparent. Decent plus, proper shielding, oxygen free copper without silver plating which just adds a harshness or glare IMO.

Open mind and ears whilst owning GSP Genera, Accession M, Accession MC, Elevator EXP, Solo ULDE, Proprius amps, Cusat50 cables, Lautus digital cable, Spatia cables and links, and a Majestic DAC.
