I have been running my Technics 1200G for a few months now with the factory supplied interconnects and am looking to upgrade them to something different. I have heard good things about Cusat50 however, every so often I keep reading an opinion that it sounds a "bit flat"? Has anyone done any comparisons to cables of other brands (of similar value)? The likes of QED Reference 40 springs to mind.

My suggestion is to borrow a set from John_C and see how the cable sounds to you in your system. Please play a couple of records rather than doing rapid AB swaps and enjoy your music. I have a several sets of Cusat50's now and owned various brand name cables before that including Chord, Tellurium Q, and others. I prefer the Cusat50's as they are clear and transparent. Decent plus, proper shielding, oxygen free copper without silver plating which just adds a harshness or glare IMO. |
