Evening,

Any recommendations for turntable repairers please? I've a Thorens TD166 which seems to have an adjustment problem, the vinyl is catching the dust cover at the rear.

I'm on the south coast but travel up & down the country, prefer not to post!

Thanks

Nick

I've had a turntable repaired by Wilkinson's Hifi in Nelson, Lancashire and can thoroughly recommend them. They're a proper old school outfit and seem to be able to fix things others can't.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. It's not an area I normally visit (Lancashire! Smile) But might be worth the journey

Inspire HiFi (Chesterfield) might be worth a try. They worked on my Manticore Mantra for me.

Thanks, not far from where I work either so easy to drop off. I've got an Arcam DVD player which I used as the CD player which needs a new transport as well.
