Before you chose your Graham Slee Unit (Especially the Accession), what did you compare it to first?

I compared it to KAB and Elberg. Both are special phono stages with multiple EQ curves. I prefered Graham Slee Revelation (M) both in terms of sound (clearer, more subtle details) and in terms of ease of adjustment of EQ (it is clear what switch to push to provide for a desired change, and it is very quick to adjust).
