I can't remember exactly when I officially started as Graham Slee Projects but it was one day in November 1998. I didn't have a clue what I was going to do but "Start-Up" was giving me £60 a week for the first 6 months to do it. Everything I'd done the previous 15 years was one project or another and that's why it said "Projects". A good pal got me making "clever" one off control circuits for exhibition displays, and I spent a good part of January 2000 travelling back and forth to Germany building-up and pulling down exhibition stands. Sometime amongst all that I'd been working on a phono preamp which ended up being the Gram Amp. It was 2003 before the audio products made enough money for me to pack in sub-contract work. The name was incorporated in 2005 (Graham Slee Projects Ltd), and in 2015 it changed to HiFi System Components Ltd, and Graham Slee Projects Ltd became a dormant company.

IMHO,  It's a lot to be proud of. Despite the challenges and difficulties. Worthy of recognition beyond the confines of this small forum group of devotees.

I find it very interesting when you share your experiences. Thanks.

I'll put you a card in the post nearer the time.....Smile

John
