Do you mean as in glasses?

Well, me being well on my way to being blind as a bat (good hearing though!) I use my walking around specks and my reading glasses together, and that's sufficient to run the solder down each side of a SSOP. But to inspect the quality of the soldering I then add a x7 or x9 (depending on what I can find on the bench) "big eye" (eye glass). Obviously I can't do production.

Two or three sets of optics at a time eh Graham?

....makes you sound like a specks maniac.
Older than I once was, younger than I'll be

In the words of the song .....

My eyes are dim, I cannot see,
I have not got my specs with me,
I have not got my specs with me.
