If anyone is on a budget and considering buying a headphone and Solo ULDE combo that cost significantly more than a pair of Proprius monoblocks and some Mark Audio speaker drivers, then I would recommend the speaker route, not headphones. Some decent drivers in suitable cardboard boxes will overall sound better than many very expensive headphones. DIY speakers can offer tremendous value for money over megabuck cans. I only shelled out for the MySphere 3.1 as I wanted a critical, professional tool and listening reference and desired something with real science, R+D and highly regarded measurement technology backing it up.
