I'm sat listening to my solo with a few beers inside me...I have had a bit of a play with my set up(I’m not drunk, but getting there) and used my pre amp set to about 90% max volume into solo. It sounds nice and is a good way to get the house sound of my pre into the solo and phones too.
Now this has me thinking...a dangerous thing...but would it be possible for Graham to build me a headphone power amp? I’m sure this must of been asked before and sorry for going over old ground. My reasoning for asking is that I love the way my pre plays a tune, it adds something I like to the music. Not that the solo is lacking in fact I find it more way more neutral and possibly more true to the recording. I’m looking for the best of both worlds. Poss a big ask😳
