Since getting my solo I have been having a bit of a issue with the sound of my system. My phones are HD 700 and I know they are a bit of a marmite phone, but with my new mdac+ most songs had an odd distortion in the upper/mid end sort of sounded grainy and crap tbh. Swapped out the mdac for my old L*nn Unidisk fed by an audio lab transport.....holy feck what a step change. I would have tipped the mdac should win but my 15 year old L*nn wipes the floor with it and it’s not even close. Some times older means better😂

Fault with the MDAC+? I can’t imagine why any digital product would do that these days! Still, you could always just get a Majestic and be done with it...
