AV cables sold in UK shops seem to be able to make some quite extravagant claims without any consequence from ASA...

Lautus is a test of whether theory correlates with an audible result. People can use the loan scheme for low cost to scrutinise the abilities of this cable range, without commiting to a purchase. So very "low risk" indeed.

I believe that the ferrite/s are positioned at specific (and available) lengths along the sheath of the cable. I think it is to provide discontinuity in the sheath current at a radio frequency with the most dominant amplitude. I do not pretend to understand the years of electromagnetic theory Graham has gone through to get to this but he said that it was very calculated and dependent on the velocity factor of the material of propagation. Can we have the formula again please Graham. I want to try and understand this EM principle.
