These are one of the best headphones I have tried BUT they are open backed and I can't stand the earache I'm getting from 'er indoors about not been able to hear her beloved Emmerdale or Coronation St et al. They were new last November, I have used them 4 or 5 times. There is still some protective film on one of the phones. It is with great reluctance that I'm letting these headphones go. I have tried to remove the cable plug from the phones, but no success, on a similar setup the plug comes out easily.
These are Reference Studio Headphones for precision listening, mixing and mastering.Cry

Current price is about £144 new, I'm looking for about £100 with free UK postage.

I have a pair too, Norman, and the plug is a tight fit.
It really does need a sharp pull while keeping the release tab pressed. I almost gave up for fear of doing damage.
