Would a CuSat50 be suitable to connect my turntable to an Accession. The reason i ask is Looking at another manufacturer of good quality interconnects recommends not using them to connect to a phono pre-amp.

Yes.
I would also recommend Cusat50's between an Elevator EXP output to an Accession or Reflex M. The Cusat50's are very low capacitance cables suitable for MM use and CD/high level signals whereas many phono leads designed for the latter are high capacitance and will load an MM cartridge affecting its frequency response. In some cases the other cables are not properly shielded ('floating shield' and some 'pseudo-balanced') so use into a low level/high gain MM input will boost the hum and other noise they let in! |

Cusat is the perfect partner sound wise imo. I've tried it on my spare TT which has phono outs. It is a bit stiff which might not suit some suspended decks.. like mine, but if there was any way John C could shoehorn a pair into a right angled- SME connector and get the cable to turn very tightly I would certainly be using it now. Unfortunately I doubt it's possible.

Dave is right about the sound and I too would change my tonearm's drop leads to Cusat50 if I could.
I sold a number of different phono to phono cables including Ch@@@d and T@@@m Q, and gave away some pretty decent homemade cables, after hearing the Cusat50 cables. Or rather hearing my music coming through unaltered. |
