last night John C popped round for a couple of hours for our biannual natter and a glass of ale. He brought along an Accession and Elevator too and we did a quick back to back with my Reflex C.

My impressions are as follows:

The first thing I noticed was that vocals moved upward by around 1ft, also moved forward and became a little more focused.   The second comment I made was that the LF was a little fuller and seemed more fluid (for want of a better expression).    I don’t want to go off half cocked about my other observations because some of these, e.g. more spectacular presentation, varied with different tracks/discs (possibly becase the kit wasn't powered up for a while prior to our brief audition). Pretty much everything though sounded a little sweeter and nearer. The one word that kept coming to mind was finesse.

Unfortunately John had to take the kit with him when he left but I'm really looking forward to having a longer listen.
I'd like to agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
