Any views on optimum length for best performance of a USB cable, in particular for laptop to Majestic connection?
Has anyone experience of cables being either too short or too long in this respect? |

I'm using a 1.2m Lautus USB cable with my Majestic right now. Pure sound.

I'm currently using a nondescript USB cable 2m long, but ideally need one about 4m long.
No doubt John C could make a Lautus USB this long, but might the length have a deleterious effect on the signal? |

I think I read somewhere that up to 5m for a USB is fine. |

Thanks Ash and Dave,
It goes without saying that the cable would have to be Lautus!! |
