Steppenwolf album "Steppenwolf 7"
 Song = Earschplittenloudenboomer

Instrumental song that builds to a crescendo peak, be careful not to play at more than 75% max volume!Wink
Another song to test your sound system.

The whole album on vinyl. Made a statement for it's day.

Steppenwolf sparks wondrous memories of Easy Rider and the culture of the day.
Add to that the soundtrack from Clockwork Orange.
Such memories!
Just listen, if it sounds good to you, enjoy it.

Has anyone else heard this? It is hard to explain...
      the end of the song has a prolonged, one note, bass boom!
Steppenwolf album "Steppenwolf 7"
 Song = Earschplittenloudenboomer

Instrumental song that builds to a crescendo peak, be careful not to play at more than 75% max volume!Wink (unless your speakers can handle an explosive bass event through your power amplifier.)
Another song to test your sound system.

I am afraid I have not heard that one. However I do have Steppenwolf / The Ultimate Collection on Polytel 8312121. This nice 2 disc compilation does feature Born to be Wild, but not the other soundtrack number the excellent The Pusher. Another interesting record of that era is The Electric Prunes/ Mass in F Minor on midi 24010.

I think The Pusher is one of the best tracks on the Easy Rider sound track LP.
